CWC GALLERY is pleased to present the exhibition »Welcome to the World of Anderson & Low« from June 25, 2016. This is the most comprehensive exhibition of Anderson & Low's work to date and will give the viewer an insight into their unusual world; it includes 100 works from several series – from the spectacular and jazzy »Manga Dreams« series via the picturesque »Nudes« series through to the sensational series »On the Set of James Bond's 'Spectre'« that is being exhibited for the very first time worldwide. Other series exhibited are »Architecture«, »Abstraction«, »Athletes«, »New Process« and »Gymnasts – NDGT«. Anderson & Low' works are unusually diverse in concept and subject. The duo deliberately responds to each new idea with a fresh and new style, based on their subjective response to the content and material they are engaging with. Thus they are continually reinventing themselves for each new project. Yet there are recurrent underlying themes that recur in their work (such as costume, identity, fantasy versus reality, and perception of the viewed image), and these recurring themes, plus the formalism in image construction and attention to execution of the final print gives a unity and harmony to the entire, diverse world that they create. Thus this diversity ultimately brings a harmony and strength to their art.
